Dawn Walk

It was a clear and chilly morning walk today but much nicer than the recent wet and windy walks !! And the moon was still there ! 

Craft Shop

Received a phone call a couple of days ago from The Crafters shop in Melrose asking if I would like to have a guest spot in February - last minute I know but I agreed and today took some of my work over to display in the shop. 

Will be making some new products over the next few weeks so plan to refresh my display during the month.

Sunday Walk

One of my favourite things is to walk in the Hills with good friends. Today the snow made the landscape magical. 

Snowy Saturday

We are a little bit tired today after a late night dancing at our Annual Teviotdale Farmers Ball!! However managed a couple of miles out walking with the dogs in the snowy hills. I love the subtle colours showing through the light covering of snow. The dogs have landed on me on the sofa now so I will have to stay still for a little while now :) 

Will do some sewing later. 

Happy New Year

It's been a busy festive season but quieter over the first couple of weeks in January. I have spent some time working out my business goals for 2016 and getting my books up to date. Needless to say I would rather be sewing so I've had to discipline myself and keep focussed on the necessary tasks. 

Regular blogging and posting to facebook are amongst the tasks and also creating content for newsletters and photographing products to sell online. I always think that the act of writing a goal and telling others about it makes it more likely to be achieved - so let's see !!!! 

Outdoors is always calling however and also Tala and Scout who love running about in the hills!!  Fresh air and daily exercise is good for us all anyway - isn't it?!
